Check In Reports
At Check In, we go through the previously completed Property Inventory document with the incoming tenant, explaining it in full and answering any questions that may arise. This is also the stage where any changes that have taken place in between the Inventory and Check In are noted, and any comments by the new tenant are added to the report.
The Tenant(s) are asked to sign the Check-in Declaration form agreeing the Inventory document (including any comments they may have added), thus creating a binding record of the property’s condition and contents.
During the Check-in the Clerk will also test and record the keys provided to the Tenant(s), record all electrical and gas appliances, position and readings of meters, and any specific items requiring immediate attention.
